This one will kill the rest of the land, leading to their ultimate destruction. Warning them that if nothing is done they will all perish.
Is he right? Is there anything they can do to stop the storm? Or is he spreading fear in order to create chaos or even in an attempt to bring the people together as one as they work to survive?

At the knowledge of her words, Brandr found himself trapped between amusement and dread. Normally, Bjorn would have felt the same, but there were stars in his eyes and that made his brother roll his eyes when he looked back at him. Brandr took a deep breath and moved up beside of Bjorn, who had his eyes running to places he knew she be avoided with others around.
Bjorn finally pulled his attention away from her and he looked around at the camp, "nice to be here." Stepping up to where he was a half-step behind Ailyth, he licked his lips. "So, where should we put these?" He nodded toward the large pack that he had resting over his shoulder.
"Finally, a real question," came from Brandr as he moved up as well and turned to look toward Ailyth, "how many attempts to beat you does he get? Suitable for a hired blade, I doubt he's had the teachers you have." When Brandr jerked things back to those comments, Bjorn opened his mouth, but found no words to come out and clamped his maw shut again. He knew he had little in the way of an instructor, despite being considered 'good enough' by most.

Her eyes moved to her own tent that was on the outskirts of the camp where she could come and go from easily but also allowed her to easily keep track of what was going on. However there was also some distance between the camp and her tent that allowed her the closest thing to privacy that could really be found in a camp. Looking over her shoulder at him she smiled. "Anywhere you like, I don't suppose there is any woman here who would object to having you in the tent next to their own."
I know I wouldn't.
Turning to look at them she smiled as she folded her arms over her abdomen. "The hunters tend to stay to one side while the scouts, wounded and everyone else stay on the other. My tent is the lonely one at the back of the camp. You're more than welcome to pick a spot that will suit your...needs." In other words, pick a spot closest to your type of woman.
Curiousity got the better of her, she wanted to see what type of women these two went for. She could easily imagine Brandr being the type to go for a huntress while Bjorn she wasn't sure about, perhaps a scout or the weaponsmith. Ailyth looked over at the scout who came to take her mare from her, leading the horse over to the others but not before looking over the brothers with a pleased smile that said it all. She liked what she seen.
When Brandr changed the subject she found her eyes moving to Bjorn, his expression was brilliant and utterly priceless and that just made her smile all the more. "He can try as many times as he likes, it would be cruel and unfair if I didn't allow the men that I beat the chance to redeem themselves. The last two only tried once." Ailyth looked back to Brandr. "Who knows, he might learn something while here that could help him beat me." Her sisters would give him nothing on her but she was pretty sure that if he asked them nice enough they would train with them.
The two men listened to her and once they had a little space to themselves, Bjorn and Brandr huddled in close and began to talk quietly among themselves. Head bouncing, shrugging, a bit lively what should have been simply choosing a place. It was then that Bjorn finally said loud to enough to be heard, "fine. We can."
Brandr brightened up and he stepped back, "good. Good. Don't make too much noise." It was an obvious tease as Bjorn moved to sit his burden down a ways from Ailyth's tent, but close enough that it was obvious where he was picking to stay. His right arm lifted up and brushed the hair away from his face, a smile forming with a light shrug. "Think here is a good place."
By then his brother was already walking, making his way toward the huntress section of the Amazon camp. Bjorn put a tongue in cheek and shook his head. "Vagr just has to try and be a matchmaker." Shaking his head, he turned to look at Ailyth, "do not mind, I hope?" There was a worried expression, pursed lips and a lifted brow as he asked, though a grin trying to form at the same time.

And I thought that some of the Amazons put too much thought into where they pitch a tent. Ailyth watched the two of them with an amused smile, it was hard to not be amused when you were witnessing such an adorable brotherly transcation. Especially when it was something that you weren't used to seeing. The scout came to Ailyth to take the mare from her, "They remind me of Acaedian women and their dresses."
Ailyth desperately tried to hold back a laugh but when the image of the brothers in dresses came to mind she lost any chance of keeping it together. A laugh eminated from the smiling lips of Ailyth. "Lenneth!" The scout joined in with the laugh as she lead the horse away, the Princess managed to stop laughing just in time for the boys to finish their little debate on where they would be sleeping.
At the comment about not making too much noise Ailyth raised a brow as she watched Brandr. Much to her shame the first thought that came to mind was that Bjorn snored...until Bjorn moved that is. Her eyes followed his movement and soon realized what he'd actually been meaning, a little smile played on her lips at the thought but she quickly pushed the thought aside. She liked the thought of him being nearby but she couldn't let it show. Not yet anyway.
Looking over at Brandr she smiled brightly as she watched him walk away. "Looks like I had your brother's taste in women right."
Her eyes moved to Bjorn again, her eyes scanning him from head to toe in the torch light as she walked over to him, she seen no point in having too much distance between them since they were now alone and able to speak without Bjorn being told to behave. "I don't think it can be really called matchmaking when it comes to Amazons since we rarely marry or even have relationships other than a physical one."
His worried expression made her features soften as she looked at him. "Handsome man close by, what woman in her right mind would mind that?" Ailyth commented in a lighthearted tone. "That is it you is just an added bonus." The last part was a tease that brought a smile to her lips as she watched him.
Her laughter had not escaped Bjorn; he kept his mind from focusing on her laughter, however. For him, it was more important to pay attention to her words and he wore a smirk at most of them. Shaking his head, a chuckle slipped free as he walked up to her, only a few inches separating them. Why do I see trouble for you and me? He asked himself, unable to voice the words as he lifted up a hand to touch her cheek, finger tips tracing along the jawline until the palm cupped it.
"That so? Well..." He seemed to be trying to find some words to voice what was in his head after it moved on from trouble. "I have to guess this awkward attraction will be amusing to see play out then." It was awkward, at least to him at that moment. An Amazon princess, he was an exile of his own people, yet it seemed unimportant to her. Leaning in, blue eyes stayed focused on her until the last moment when he turned coward and kissed the corner of her lips and then backed up a step. "I... I have a tent to get up." He smiled and let his hand drop, offering a smile as compensation.

Her entire body froze when he touched her cheek, she wasn't used to men being so bold towards her but it just made her all the more curious about him. If he was willing to touch her in a camp full of Amazons then he clearly had gutts and she rather liked that, it would make having him around interesting. Her eyes scanned his face as she tried to figure out what he was planning but she couldn't even hazard a guess, Ailyth couldn't read him.
This was not a situation that Ailyth was used to. Men didn't touch her without being hurt for it but rather than making anything to discourage it she did something that surprised even her. She laid her hand lightly over his as she looked back at him with clear confusion in her eyes. Why am I allowing this? I should be kicking him right now but I have no desire to stop him.
Awkward attraction was a brilliant way of wording it. Their reasons for finding it awkward were different however. This was completely new to Ailyth who, while close to her father and cousin, wasn't used to physical contact with men. The more accustomed to his touch she became the more warmth she felt upon her cheeks. "That isn't what you wanted to say, was it?" The usually confident Ailyth whispered the words as she looked into his entrancing eyes. "Though I am curious as to how this will play out..." All thoughts went out the window as he leaned in, her heart stopped for a moment and she couldn't help but smile when he kissed the corner of her lips.
Looking at him with an amused smiled she let go of his hand to allow him to step away from her. "Oh, so that's how it is going to be is it? You teasing me with a kiss and then make an excuse to leave." She was clearly only teasing and her tone showed it, as did her smile. "I'll forgive you for teasing, just this once and only because you are cute but..." Seizing the moment she stepped onto her tip toes and placed a light, teasingly chaste kiss upon his lips. "Don't miss next time." With a smile she walked passed him, heading over to Lenneth who looked as if the smallest breeze might knock her over but not without looking back at Bjorn.
Things were definately going to be interesting with him around.
Bjorn found his breath held, standing there as she passed him by, turning just a little. "Don't miss?" A smirk formed and he chuckled after a delay. Licking his lips, he let his mind linger where it had fallen for only a few moments before walking toward his tent and going about the work of pulling everything apart to get it set up. Even as he worked, his eyes kept finding their way back toward Ailyth and so did a smirk at the thoughts that accompanied her visage. Silence was where he remained until the tent was up. It helped distract him some and once he was standing again, Bjorn cleared his throat and took a deep breath.
"Now where..." He had been watching her a lot until he got into getting the tent up, now he couldn't find her? Maybe he didn't want to find her? Glancing around, he rubbed his neck. "Princess? Oh... Princess?" The called echoed out and he began walking a half-circle around the tent and stopped. It never really settled into his head that perhaps he did not see her because he didn't want to. A hum slipped from his throat, then turned and moved to pull an apple from his bags, tossing it up, he seemed more interested in staring at it than eating it.

His gaze didn't go unnoticed by Ailyth, or Lenneth. Ailyth found herself smiling whenever she felt eyes upon her because she knew exactly whose eyes they were. They were those beautiful steel grey eyes that kept entrancing her. Every so often Ailyth would look back over at him, it was clear that he had her attention even if she was trying to fight it. To distract herself Ailyth found herself walking the parimeter of the camp, her eyes scanning the mountains for any signs of life as she walked with the scout. It wasn't often that anyone stumbled upon their camp but it didn't stop her from keeping a scout checking up on borders. The scout could tell that something other than the camps borders were on the Princess's mind. "You need to stop thinking about him, Princess. I don't think he could beat you." Lenneth was only teasing but the reaction that she got from Ailyth would shock her.
"I might let him win." Might was the key word, it wasn't in Ailyth's nature to lose, not when it was over something so important as the person who could potentially father her child.
Lenneth was silent for the rest of the walk, as was Ailyth who deep in thought. When she heard someone calling out her title she perched instantly, looking around as she listened, a little smile coming to her lips. "Go." Lenneth folded her arms over her chest and looked at her amazon sister with a look of 'you know you want to'.
Ailyth couldn't, and wouldn't, argue. With a smile she laid a hand upon her sisters arm before moving off back to the camp. As she slipped into the camp she immediately found Bjorn, her eyes lingered on him for several moments before she walked over to him. "I'm sure I've told you my name, you don't have to call me Princess," as she stepped up behind him she smiled, her head tilted slightly as she watched him.
Bjorn stopped moving when he heard Ailyth speak and he turned around to look at her with a smile forming. "As you wish, Aila... Aileth... Alith?" He cleared his throat and chuckled, "Ailyth?" He said, trying the name one last time. It was pretty obvious why he had been using Princess at that point and he put a tongue in cheek.
Shaking his head, he sighed. "What are your plans tomorrow? Making your way home?" It was worth asking as he saw it, since she had already invited them to follow along. Stepping up close, his hand lifted and cupped her cheek. "It's strange. Odd. Feeling an attraction so quickly." A curse perhaps? His father had told him and his brother repeatedly that the women of the mountains were a succubus in disguise, able to steal the soul and offer little in return.

There was that smile again, the one that made her heart want to cease beating and begged for her lips to be touched to his. He had such a handsome smile that she couldn't be mad that he'd forgotten her name. Freya what have I done to warrant such torture from you? Ailyth smiled as she heard her name come from his lips, she was pretty sure that she would never get bored of hearing him say it. "I rather like hearing you say my name, you should do it more often, if you don't forget it again." The last part was said with a playful smile that showed she wasn't bothered by it since he'd remembered it in the end.
"Until the woman here are able to travel I'll be remaining here, I'm waiting on the healer saying that we are able to move so that it will depend upon her." She made no attempt to move away from him as he stepped close and when he touched her cheek she couldn't stop her eyes from closing, her cheeks flushed under his touch and she was sure that he'd be able to feel it. "I would have to agree, I've never been captivated by an man until I met you," the words left her lips as her eyes slowly opened to look back into his.
Tracing her fingers over the back of his hand she looked up at him, "This is all rather new to me."
"New experiences are the building logs of life," was the first words to hit him, spoken without thought as his parents had always pushed similar. A chuckle slipped out when he realized what he had done and shook his head slowly, "I was told that repeatedly growing up. Quite true as well." He offered a smile, not quite sure how else to react from there. Chewing on his lip for a moment, he finally looked over his shoulder toward the camp. "Illness or battle that has them unable to travel?" He felt it worth asking and Bjorn let his attention shift back to Ailyth, his hand moving to simply pet her, his hand stroking her hair in a light manner. The man found himself a bit lost and it was a block mentally that would pass as they grew more comfortable, more familiar with one another.
