A religious zealot has been traveling through all the cities of Elyria and spreading fear and a warning. A great storm is coming, one even worse than then the one that destroyed much of their land. This one will kill the rest of the land, leading to their ultimate destruction. Warning them that if nothing is done they will all perish.
Is he right? Is there anything they can do to stop the storm? Or is he spreading fear in order to create chaos or even in an attempt to bring the people together as one as they work to survive?

Caelum usually never stayed in one place for too long, but when it came to the natural splendor of forests he was willing to make an exception.
Today, the scientist was going for a "morning walk". To those who knew Caelum well, it might as well have been the shorter version of "foraging-in-the-forest-for-plants-that-no-one-has-seen-before", and indeed, that was his real goal for the day. Caelum hummed quietly to himself as he walked, notebook tucked under his arm while his pet ferret--Albion--snugly lay on his left shoulder. Caelum would have talked to the white-furred creature if he wanted to, but Albion was still half-asleep after being awoken so early.
"Heyyyy, wake up Al," he decided to poke his pet anyway. Albion groaned in protest, an annoyed look already forming on his face as he lazily lifted up his head. "We're here to find more underflowers, remember?"
The ferret's head slumped back down on his shoulder, a frown now gracing his sleepy face.
Caelum shrugged in response, albeit a bit gently so as to not incur the wrath of his furry friend. Instead, he ducked his head down and focused on the ground, looking for a certain small leaf that would indicate the presence of an underflower. He'd named the species as such after discovering it yesterday--it was a peculiar flower, indeed, and one that he was very excited to study. Maybe, just maybe, if its effects were beneficial, he might be able to sneak it in on the market and make some coin out of it.
I just gotta find that leaf... he thought to himself, squinting more so he could see that teeny tiny leaf. It was no wonder no one had discovered what underflowers were until yesterday--the only thing indicating its presence was so small and unnoticeable and so easily trampled over. It was basically as good at hiding as Toren assassins were.
As such, anyone who passed by the Venetian forest and spotted Caelum would wonder why he was tiptoeing so comically.
There was also the fact that it didn't grow in groups--the species was spread so thinly throughout the forest and it made foraging a lot more difficu--
AHA!
Caelum couldn't contain his grin as he suddenly knelt down and looked closer at the leaf he'd been searching for half and hour. On his shoulder, Albion gave a small yelp as he nearly fell over from Caelum's sudden movement. "I FOUND IT! HAH!" the Vanir scientist exclaimed happily, gently but quickly grabbing Albion by the waist and raising him to eye level. "I TOLD YOU IT WOULD FIND ONE! WAKING UP THIS EARLY WAS DEFINITELY WORTH IT! ALBION WE GOTTA DIG THIS UP!"
Then he belted out a triumphant whoop--oblivious to his surroundings and to anyone who might be passing by.
Ivo had set out into the forest in the earliest part of the morning, while the sky was still only showing hints of the morning sky to come. It was a beautiful morning to behold and was grateful for the sight. The deep purple of the early light ebbed into the rosy pink before shifting into a glorious golden hue before the soft blue took hold. She had sat at the edge of the woods to watch the change, a small smile as she watched the last of the golden color wash out of the now white clouds. She stood from her seated position underneath a large tree and brushed off the cloak she wore about her person. A gift from her grandparents, the color of the leather resembling the trees she enjoyed being around. Around the mantle and hood, leaf green cloth sewn into leaf patterns while the long hood could cover her face completely. Small eye cutouts had been carefully hidden among the patterns of the cloth and leather to allow her to hide better when looking for game.
It was her favorite possession aside from the bow that she had made for herself, which was absent from her person today as she was here for exploration and not hunting. Finding nests and bedding spots and seeing what edible plants were about these parts of the wood. The large shoulder bag beneath the cloak was empty for now until she could forage for materials. A large knife, knife being a relative term since it was at least ten inches of blade, was strapped to the bottom of the bag. Easily accessible should she need it to defend herself. She hoped she didn’t need it since she was mainly after flowers and maybe even a bee’s nest to collect for her grandparents. She had plenty of items already prepared for their next trip to a major city, so now her adventures mainly focused on finding small things for their own camp.
An hour later, when the sun began to shine through the trees easily and warm the land it shone upon, she could hear faint buzzing in the distance. Following the sound, careful to avoid tripping or snapping twigs, she spied a tree hollow with a few fat black dots lazily buzzing about it. She would have ventured closer had a large whoop not startled her, the muscles in her body tensing and a surge of adrenaline making her vision sharply focus in the direction of the noise. A large creature might have gotten the drop on her, but she would not go down without a fight as she tried to cut of the initial attack from the animal.
She hadn’t realized her body had begun moving on its own until she went crashing through a bush, numerous small nicks on her arm from the branch as she barreled through the bush expecting an animal on the other side only to find a crouched person. Ivo backpedaled hard and sent herself back through the bush and crouched low until only the top of her hood was visible. The green tree leaf pattern hardly blended in with the bush in front of her, but she was still calming down from the surge of excitement and alarm from seeing another person rather than an animal. She also didn’t feel like assaulting a random person in the woods as a greeting for possible neighbors and took a moment to calm herself while she watched the person.
