Julius was finishing up with his work, and he was about ready to relax for a while. He'd heard a few coworkers discussing going out to enjoy some pleasure with the women of the Black Rose, but he had no intention of going with them. As much as he liked women, he had no interest in that kind of establishment. He would rather find himself a woman who actually cared about him. Maybe he could find a time to talk to that cute serving girl.
What he didn't expect was for his coworkers to all but drag him along with them, telling him that he needed to loosen up a bit. In short, he soon found himself in the Black Rose tavern. As expected, a number of half-naked women were paraded in front of them, there for the taking for anyone willing to pay a few coins.
Faking the need to relieve himself, he got up, and once he thought he wasn't being watched, he wandered into the back rooms, intending to hide for a while. He walked into the first room that had its door open and right away shut the door and bolted it. Once his eyes adjusted to the low light, he realized that he'd just walked in on another woman and essentially locked himself in. He started to slowly move toward the door, but he pretty much knew that he was trapped in here. He couldn't exactly walk out on a woman, so his only choice would probably be to climb into bed with her.

While most of the women in the Black Rose were looking for clients or entertaining Athena was in her room, enjoying the peaceful evening she'd somehow acquired. After collecting a glass of wine from the bar she'd retreated to her room but not before she'd caught the attention of several men. She brushed them off however, she had no desire to spend time with men who wouldn't have been able afford her even if she had been a whore.
Not to mention she was in no mood to have their dirty little hands all over her black dress.
As she entered her room she sat down on the bed with her wine before drawing a deck of tarot cards from the stand by the bed. She shuffled the cards with a single hand as she took a sip of the wine before placing the glass on the stand and dealing the cards out and looking them over, shaking her head as she read that love would come into her life. The cards aren't usually wrong but I fear they've missed the mark here. I can't love. Gathering the cards she looked up in surprise as her door opened.
She'd not been expecting anyone and Osiris always knocked, sitting up properly she looked over at the man who'd entered and actually locked the door behind himself. She'd not been expecting anyone and couldn't help but he curious as to who this man was. He seemed as surprised as she was when he noticed her. Rising from the bed she walked over to him and looked him over with a smile, trying to put him at ease. "Now, what do we have here?" Stopping in front of him she continued to smile at him. "A handsome mouse stumbling into the cat's den? How lucky for the cat." He was handsome but she knew instantly that he'd wasn't comfortable here.
Turning she walked over to the bed and sat down, still playing with the cards in a single hand she looked over at him. "Come, take a seat and let me tell your fortune." It was something she'd learned from a seer while Mira was training her, it was a useful trick for intriguing nobles. "I don't bite...unless I asked to." The last part was a joke but she was more than happy to bite (or do most things) if she was asked to since it always meant getting the job done quicker.

Julius just froze in place when the woman stood up and walked toward him. He'd been trying to avoid the women here, and now he was stuck in a bedroom with one. She commented about a mouse stumbling into a cat's den, a metaphor that seemed to describe his situation perfectly. It also seemed that she had every intention of taking advantage of the situation. Julius blushed with embarrassment, but he did not resist the woman.
After a moment, she asked him to sit beside her on the bed and have his fortune read. Of course, it was a means to get him where he couldn't possibly resist, but it wasn't like he could do anything about it anyways. If he ran, he would just be brought back here or to some other woman.
As his eyes adjusted to the low light, Julius noticed that the woman was quite attractive, but then again, so we're all the women here. The dress she wore definitely looked flattering on her, but it almost looked more like the clothing of a young noblewoman than that of a whore. Of course, that could be part of her deal, to attract a different kind of client.
Seeing no other options, Julius sat beside her, leaving a few inches between them in an attempt to make himself feel more comfortable. He might be going with her wishes, but he also didn't want his body language to tell her that he wanted her. He was still completely silent, having no idea what to say.
